The password does not work

When you download any copy of Legacy, either the Standard or Deluxe Editions, a password is immediately sent to the e-mail address you gave us. You must have this password in order to install the program. If you type in your e-mail address incorrectly, you won't receive the password.

Don't go through the order process again or you will be charged for Legacy a second time.

If you have spam-blocking software, please add Legacy@LegacyFamilyTree.com to the program's Approved list. If these steps fail, please contact Support@LegacyFamilyTree.com or call 425-788-0932. If you have to wait for a reply, please be patient.

The passwords are case sensitive.  Make certain you enter the password exactly as you received it. In addition, a Legacy 6.0 or earlier installation password won't work for Legacy 7.0.

If the current password does not work the file may be an older version from a previous download that you saved to disk. Please delete the file and then download it again fresh. 

If the file is corrupted or the file size incorrect, the password won't work and you cannot proceed with the installation. Please delete the file (if saved) and then download it again fresh.
