Troubleshooting: Error Opening Message File. Could not lock file. (Windows Vista)

Root Folder > Troubleshooting
  1. Log on as Administrator.
  2. Click the Start button and go to Computer and open the C: drive.
  3. Next, with the right mouse button click once on the Legacy folder and select Share on the pop-up menu.
  4. In the File Sharing screen select Change sharing permissions and then highlight the account that is getting the error.
  5. Set the permission level to Contributor and then click Share.
